BIGO LIVE on the Landmark 81 façade: advertising on Vietnam's tallest building
In December 2022, BIGO LIVE content appeared on the façade of Landmark 81 (461 m). Shojiki, now part of SJK Group, ran the campaign on 14/12/2022.
The campaign
On 14/12/2022, content for the live-streaming app BIGO LIVE was shown on the façade of Landmark 81. The campaign was run by Shojiki — now part of SJK Group; the video above is the company's own recording.
Landmark 81 is about 461 m tall with 81 floors, at 720A Điện Biên Phủ in the Vinhomes Central Park area on the bank of the Saigon River; completed in 2018, it is the tallest building in Vietnam. The middle section of its façade carries LED points that can show moving images.
Why an app chose a landmark
- One image, seen by a great many people: the building is visible from many districts and from both banks of the river.
- Content made to be photographed and shared: for a social app, the photos and videos viewers take themselves matter as much as the views on the spot.
- The end of the year: December is the season of events and shopping, with many people out in the evening.

Advertising on a building's façade needs the owner's consent and follows the province's outdoor advertising rules; outdoor screens use no sound (Article 28 of the Advertising Law, as amended by Law No. 75/2025/QH15).
