Outdoor advertising rates in Vietnam, 2026: reference prices by province
From 2,708 boards on WikiOOH: a board in Hồ Chí Minh City from about VND 648 million a year, Hà Nội about VND 492 million, Đà Nẵng about VND 384 million. How the figures are worked out, why board types differ, and what a list price does not tell you.

The first thing a buyer asks is «How much does a year on this board cost?». Most board owners' pages answer «Contact us». WikiOOH publishes reference prices by province and by board type, worked out from the list prices the owners themselves set on the marketplace.
Figures as of 10/10/2026
WikiOOH lists 2,708 boards in 33 of the 34 provinces and cities under the new administrative map. The «from» price — the level at which a buyer can start — in the main markets:
- Hồ Chí Minh City (756 boards, 35 owners): from about VND 648 million a year. Wall billboards from about VND 648 million, pole billboards from about VND 708 million, light boxes from about VND 252 million, LED screens from about VND 1.44 billion.
- Hà Nội (378 boards, 23 owners): from about VND 492 million a year. Wall billboards from about VND 516 million, pole billboards from about VND 444 million.
- Đà Nẵng (168 boards, former Quảng Nam included): from about VND 384 million a year. Bus shelters from about VND 78 million, light boxes from about VND 348 million.
- Đồng Nai from about VND 588 million, Tây Ninh from about VND 540 million, Hải Phòng from about VND 480 million, Khánh Hòa from about VND 456 million, Cần Thơ from about VND 420 million a year.
Figures for every province are kept up to date on Boards by province.
How the «from» figure is worked out
For each board with a price, WikiOOH takes the list price for the longest term (usually 12 months) and brings it to one year; prices in USD are converted at Vietcombank's transfer selling rate of the day. In each «province × board type» group, the «from» figure is the 25th percentile: a quarter of the boards cost this much or less. It is shown only when the group has at least 5 boards with a price, and it is rounded — so the price of a single board cannot be worked out from it.
Why prices differ so much within one province
- Location and traffic. Boards at junctions, bridge approaches and airport roads cost more than boards in residential streets.
- Size and type. LED screens sell airtime and usually cost more than static boards nearby; bus shelters and light boxes are small and much cheaper.
- Term. A full 12 months usually costs less than 3 or 6 months renewed.
- Costs beyond the rent. Printing, installation, content changes, tax — list prices exclude VAT and usually printing.
What a list price does not tell you
A list price is a starting point. The final price depends on availability for your dates, how many boards you rent at once and the term. The fastest way: pick boards on the map, add them to a plan and send a quote request — WikiOOH asks each owner and sends back one quote for the whole campaign, free for buyers.
The figures are a snapshot of 10/10/2026. Rates change with the season (Tết, festival season) and as owners update their price lists.
